Lishan is a renowned summer retreat in Taiwan, located in the Heping District of Taichung City, at an elevation of about 1,950 meters. The climate here is cool, the scenery is beautiful, and it is famous for producing fruits such as peaches, cabbage, and pears. It is a well-known fruit-producing area in Taiwan.
Lishan Guesthouse
Lishan Guesthouse is a famous landmark in Lishan and the highest-altitude hotel in Taiwan. The architectural style of the hotel mimics that of the National Palace Museum, with an imposing and majestic appearance. The hotel features facilities such as a restaurant, café, and souvenir shop, providing comprehensive services for travelers.
Lishan Fruit Street
Lishan Fruit Street is the busiest street in Lishan, lined with shops selling fruits, vegetables, tea, and other local specialties. Visitors can taste fresh fruits here and purchase souvenirs.
Lishan Viewing Platform
Lishan Viewing Platform is located opposite Lishan Guesthouse and is the best place to enjoy the scenery of Lishan. From the viewing platform, one can take in the views of Lishan Village, Xueshan (Snow Mountain), and Dabajianshan (Great Peak Mountain).
Fushoushan Farm is also very close to here, about a 15-minute drive to Lishan Street. If you don't want to eat at the restaurant within Fushoushan Farm, you can come to this street to find food, but don't arrive too late as the stores here close early. There are also convenience stores to meet your needs for snacks, instant noodles, etc. If you need to send mail, there is even a Chunghwa Post office here.
The fruits sold here are indeed delicious and quite sweet. However, the fried fruits are just average.
