The only (?) ice shop in Xindian Zhongyang Xincun area, Xiang Bing is the go-to spot for my friends who live there—they almost exclusively visit this place when craving ice desserts. It’s quite a popular shop, especially in summer when many people come to enjoy a cold treat. During winter, they offer other hot desserts, so there's no worry about a drop in business during the colder months. When they first opened, they didn’t have so many options, but the menu has gradually expanded over time.
In the summer, mango shaved ice is a must-try. Paired with snow ice, it has a soft, delicate texture. The snow ice is flavored with milk, so it's a bit sweet. For the brown sugar shaved ice, you can pick your own toppings. Overall, they offer a good variety, and the toppings are well-prepared. It’s pretty standard fare, but if you’re not in the mood for ice, you can still enjoy their tofu pudding. The portions are generous too—two people can easily share one serving.
