How to use personal registration domain and redirection on Blogger?

After using Blogger for a year, I was thinking about whether to register the domain name myself, instead of continuing to use Blogger's free domain name, you added the blogspot's main domain to become its subdomain, But in fact, it is just like PIXNET or Udn, they are all hanging under their names. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages. This is a personal decision and not discussed.

After I registered a domain name on Google Domains, the next step was to convert the original blog to a registered domain name, and Blogger supports this feature, so we must understand the specification of the platform before using it. There is support for using third-party domains, otherwise it would be embarrassing to register a domain but not use it.

Click on the Blogger website to enter the background settings, the basics in the settings, you will see the blog URL under the post.

The picture now shows the URL I have set. There are two URLs. The one above is the one I registered, and the one below is the one that originally used Blogger.

When you want to add a third-party URL for the first time, you will see the option to add a third-party URL under the original blogger URL. The registered URL is added later. It cannot be directly placed in the main domain. Domain, it depends on whether you want to put www or blog, it depends on personal thoughts.

When a registered domain is used, the content of the old blogger URL can be redirected to the new URL, which makes it impossible to return.

Another question is what to do if the main domain wants to be imported into a subdomain?

All this information can be seen in the Blogger help setting custom domain, so why did I post it intentionally, I later found an operation error, and the person I want to see will not be the same as me, although I ’m not sure Now this error has no effect, because I use the services of Google Domains and Blogger, which are the same company, and they can connect to each other, but there are still some steps that can be done by myself to reduce some problems. This question is about Google AdSense Revenue, if I only clicked the option to redirect the main domain to the subdomain like I did, and did not enter the above information into the registered domain's DNS, it is possible that your Google AdSense will always pop out to update custom ads .txt information tells you that Ads.txt of the main domain may not be detected, which will affect your income. If the DNS part is filled in according to the steps, this problem should not occur.
