My first rental car was not in Taiwan, but in the US. For the first time, I had to travel by myself in the United States and Canada, which was quite stressful. Even with a few years of driving experience, driving abroad is a little different. In particular, some laws and regulations are different from Taiwan. Before driving, you must understand the local habits. After comparing several car rental companies, I finally chose Budget car rental. On the one hand, the price has an advantage, and on the other hand, the convenience and the style of the car are not bad, and it is also decided by the recommendation of others.
This trip takes about a week, starting from Boston to Niagara Falls, entering Toronto, Canada, then going to Ottawa and Montreal, and then back to Boston. It is almost to go to the major cities in the eastern part of Canada. I originally wanted to go to Quebec and then canceled!
There are 3 of us in total, the other two are Korean classmates, and their suitcases are not small at all. It's really a headache when choosing a car model. I want to save money but I'm afraid of lack of space, and I don't want to sit too crowded. I originally chose the Dodge model, of course not that kind of sports car. After all, this brand is quite cool, and boys are still a bit irresistible to this brand. I was looking forward to the day I got the car, but unfortunately there was no such model that day. Budget directly helped us upgrade to a Chevrolet SUV. In fact, we earned it. The cost of the SUV is much more expensive than the original model. With more space, how could you refuse this good thing!
Besides, Chevrolet's car is not bad, although it has already withdrawn from the Taiwan market, but it is still quite impressive. Since the insurance is relatively complete, there is no need to worry about any damage or theft. Insurance is still very important, and this money cannot be saved. (The whole car space is filled with luggage and snacks, haha)
After getting the car, I embarked on my first self-driving trip to the United States and Canada~~~~~

But it's still for personal use! If you need to rent a car for 2 weeks, you can consider returning the car after 1 week and then renting the car again.
