Jiufen, Jinguashi | Shanjian Road Trail |Shuizhen Bridge

Every time I think of going to Jiufen, it is Jiufen Old Street. Otherwise, Jinguashi is the Golden Waterfall or the Sea of Yin and Yang! Who would have thought of going up there and walking the trails? Except for those who have no time to spare and like to climb mountains in nature. I had no choice but to meet such a person, my dad. In order to go out for a walk, he also found a few walking routes on the Internet. It's neither long nor short, and it doesn't take more than 1 hour. A trip that can exercise a little without being too tiring, and can satisfy him and the people who go with him. What a feat!

Shanjian Ancient Road was an ancient road connecting Jiufen and Shuinandong area in the past. With the opening of the highway, this ancient road gradually declined due to few people walking. Later, the trail was renovated and became the current mountain top sightseeing trail. The only thing you need to consider is the traffic, if you choose to take the bus to walk the trails, no problem. But if you come by car, it is a more embarrassing state. It's best to think about where to park and how to get back. Unless you're going to and from the trail, that's fine.

We chose to park our car in the covered car park, there are several car parks nearby for you to choose from. Because it is less than 10 minutes' walk from Jiufen Old Street. There should be a lot of people who go to the old street who stop here on weekends! Our reason for stopping here is to go down and take a bus to Jiufen Old Street. After having lunch at Jiufen Old Street, we drove down the mountain.

When you walk down the road, you will see street signs at any time, so don't worry about taking the wrong intersection. You will pass many houses on the way. Some seem to be still inhabited, others are desolate. Or become their vacation home?

It takes less than 30 minutes to walk to see the Shuizhen Bridge, whose full name is Waijiufen Xizhen Bridge. Also known as the Golden Bridge! This is a bridge dedicated to the waterway, and it is quite distinctive. Among us, we went out to the main road, and did not continue to walk on the trail to connect to the Nejiufen Xizhen Bridge below. It is equivalent to taking a long time to walk to the entrance of Jinfu temple, which is a little bit different from the original plan. Originally, I once gave up going to Mo Ru Lane, but then I thought about whether it is rare to come or go. Only then went to Jinfu temple again. Otherwise, take a ride back to Jiufen Old Street at Guashan Elementary School.

There is a toilet on the right side of Jinfu temple, and then you will see this small fence. This is the entrance!

Pay attention to your steps when you go here. The trail here is relatively steep, and the stairs in some sections are damaged. It is not recommended for elders to take this road! It will be a little easier to walk down the left-hand side of Jinfu Palace, but it is not necessary to walk in. In fact, it is not bad to see the Waijiufen Xizhen Bridge above!

After taking a ride from Guashan Elementary School back to Jiufen Old Street to eat something, you can go home easily! The bus waiting speed here is quite fast, about 15-20 minutes to catch the bus. You can also choose to take the bus down and walk up to Jiufen.
