There is a building complex next to Wenhua University in Yangmingshan, which used to be a dormitory for the US military. If you have some knowledge of the United States, most of their homes are mainly made of wood, the construction time is short, and the price is relatively cheap. Of course, this is related to the local climate and environment. They don’t have as many earthquakes and typhoons as Taiwan, and it’s not a problem to maintain them for hundreds of years.

Most of the buildings here have been preserved. In fact, they have not been used before, but in recent years, a group company has inherited this place. Building a park or small town without destroying the original style is also to match the original style. The restaurants opened here are all Western-style meals.

The mascot of one of the restaurants is two alpacas. This alone can attract many people to stop and take pictures.

Parking is not particularly good near here, and the parking lot in Caoshan Town has consumption restrictions. You must purchase in the town and then discount the parking fee. The consumption of NT$300 is discounted for 1 hour, and the maximum is 3 hours. So although the atmosphere here is quite laid-back, it is better to come again with a purpose, such as coming here for a meal or a coffee.
