Boston, USA | Anatolia Restaurant-Eating Turkish Cuisine for the First Time in My Life

Turkish cuisine is one of the three major cuisines in the world, but to be honest, I was not familiar with all aspects of Turkey before 2012. There is no concept of this country or food. I have only heard of this country. At any rate, I have learned geography before. Across the world map. This is one of the benefits of going abroad. You have the opportunity to meet classmates from different countries, especially in language schools. So the first time I ate Turkish food was in Boston, and my Turkish classmates took everyone to try their country’s cuisine.

It is a very interesting picture. Taiwan, Japan, Colombia, Turkey, and South Korea gather together. In fact, it is not only that I have not eaten it, but my classmates from several other countries have not eaten Turkish food. Give the Turkish classmates the full authority to order food. We came to eat with the idea of believing in classmates, haha! After all, I don't know what their traditional cuisine or special cuisine is. It's better to recommend and introduce them directly to classmates.

The restaurant was naturally found by Turkish classmates. I heard that it was a restaurant recommended by their Turkish people. Most of the dishes are quite similar. This restaurant is called Anatolia. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Brookline Village Station of the MBTA Green Line. It is quite easy and convenient to find.

A cup of desserts, it turns out that Turkey is such a country that likes desserts. The meeting gift brought by Turkish classmates at the time was also Turkish delight. It was really a dessert. To me, it was very sweet. Eat a sweet that can drink a glass of water.

One of the most famous Turkish cuisine is KEBAB. When it is served with rice (or bread) and other side dishes or salads, KEBAB is simply Turkish barbecue. It mainly consists of three types of meat: lamb, beef and chicken. They are not religious. Some people eat pork and seafood. Barbecue uses a lot of spices. In fact, some people may not accept it right away, but I don’t have any problems.

I don't remember the name of this dessert, but it still lives up to the name of the dessert, which is sweet. I even wondered if I could eat the sugar to the extent that I could eat some ingredients. But the burden is still a bit heavy, and black coffee or tea is a good afternoon tea option.

The Turkish classmates were always nervous when they were eating, and I was afraid that the classmates would not like it and then did not eat enough. This pressure is really a bit huge. Fortunately, everyone thought it was OK after the meal, even though it was not full, they were still very happy to be able to try new dishes. At least everyone’s impression of eating Turkish food for the first time will not be too bad!
