Boston Fruitée Yogurt: Men Will Never Step Through Its Doors Alone!

Boston Fruitée Yogurt: Men Will Never Step Through Its Doors Alone!

In my memory, Fruitée Yogurt was a shop predominantly frequented by girls, and even if boys entered, it was usually accompanying girls. Back in 2012, I remember being led to Fruitée Yogurt by a group of male and female classmates after enjoying a meal of Korean cuisine on Harvard Ave, Boston, MA. As we entered, there was a wall with machines resembling soft serve ice cream dispensers. After selecting our desired flavors, we proceeded to the counter to choose toppings. It was a novel experience at the time, as I had never seen anything like it before. It was my first encounter with this type of semi-self-service shopping.

The taste was tangy and sweet, something that most boys didn't seem to favor. At least, that's how the boys who were there that day expressed it! On the other hand, the girls relished every bite and couldn't seem to get enough. The polarization was quite pronounced. Could this stark contrast have contributed to the shop's eventual decline and its current status as the sole remaining store? A quick online search revealed that there's now only one location left, situated at 1707 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02420, US. It seems a bit unfortunate, and I recall the prices not being very budget-friendly either. I'm curious to know how my female classmates discovered this dessert haven back then.
