Eatogether in ATT4Fun has been open for a very long time. It was once the ceiling of all-you-can-eat restaurants in Taipei. Whether it's the variety, selection, richness of cuisine, or pricing, it was the highest and most extensive . The number of diners was also the highest. When I was younger, I dined there 2-3 times. Later on, I stopped going because many other all-you-can-eat restaurants emerged. I wanted to try others, and more than a decade passed before I revisited.
Surprisingly, the place was still incredibly crowded; almost every seat was taken. There were many walk-in guests at the entrance waiting in line, which was quite astonishing. I thought its popularity might not be as high as before, given that the group has opened other all-you-can-eat restaurant brands. With more choices and different brands, I expected customers to be more dispersed. However, I underestimated the power of this longstanding brand!
The overall impression didn't seem to have changed much from the past, and the seating area still felt familiar. You still have to walk a distance to your seat, depending on your luck to be placed near or far. Now, there are also robots assisting the staff, although they occasionally seem to obstruct traffic a bit.
The age range here is quite diverse, with many elderly individuals displaying a vitality that rivals the younger crowd. Some patrons come specifically for certain dishes they crave and leave immediately after enjoying their meal—a pretty cool approach! It's akin to dining in your own kitchen at home.
The level of crowding and the speed at which dishes disappear are top-notch. Especially for popular items, sometimes you can't even grab them after making two rounds. I'm not sure if it's because other all-you-can- eat restaurants have evolved too much, but it seems like this place doesn't have the same level of amazement as before. The selection of dishes has decreased a lot, or maybe it's not them that changed, but rather the high expectations of the customers .
I tried to sample a bit of every dish and then chose the ones I liked the most. If something is readily available for refills, it usually indicates that it's more delicious. The freshness of the food is maintained at a good level, but the flavors seem to be somewhat ordinary. There's nothing particularly standout or indispensable that I feel I must eat. Even my parents feel like it's not as good as it used to be, perhaps our tastes have become more discerning. Haha! However, its price is relatively reasonable compared to others. While it used to be one of the pricier options, now it seems to have become more budget-friendly. The atmosphere is a bit strange as well.
