They should also be greatly affected in the past two years, or because every time they come is a holiday. This time I went to Nanzhuang Old Street on weekdays, and it felt very empty. It's not that the store is not open, or that there are not many stores. There are still shops with no special features, and they also bring repetitive products.
This time Nanzhuang Old Street was not planned at all, but it just happened to be lunch time. I just wanted to go around and have a look and find a place to have lunch. Stop by for a stroll in Nanzhuang Old Street, which has not been here for a long time. I just thought that I have eaten at the Old Golden Dragon Restaurant before, so let's review it again this time! No crowds, no queues. Walk into the restaurant and choose a seat at will, and it is still very refreshing to sit down and eat comfortably. They re-updated the signs and colors for the first two years, so at first I wondered how it looked different from the past. Only the wheel and the sign in front of the door have not changed.
The Old Golden Dragon Restaurant has been in business for more than 60 years, serving Hakka cuisine. After all, this is a Hakka village, and most of the dishes nearby are also Hakka dishes. Its ordering method is slightly special, mainly in the form of set menus. If not enough, add extra points. Basically all Hakka classic dishes. The biggest reason for using this method is for the speed of serving and the rate of table turnover. After all, there used to be a queue here, which can speed up the speed of serving and the convenience of ordering.
It is a pity not to use pork belly for the dried plum minced meat. That fat oil and prunes are just enjoyable to eat. Maybe they're also moving in a healthier direction, and the seasonings aren't as salty as they used to be. Osmanthus bamboo shoots are a bit bland and lack aroma. We haven't cooked so deliciously for Chinese New Year!

The Hakka Pickled Pork Soup is a bit heavy. Other seasonings have been adjusted, slightly less heavy. It's a bit of a pity for me, when I want to eat Hakka food, it's just for that original taste. So much less soul. It becomes the feel of a streamlined product with a high degree of refinement and homogeneity. The food isn't bad, it's just a bit mundane. And the last time is too far away to compare with the past. I can only say that I personally don't feel that Hakka feel, of course, other dishes may be better. It's just that we didn't eat it that day.
