Originating from Yongkang Street, thanhky Vietnamese Noodle Restaurant has consistently been one of the popular eateries on Yongkang Street. The establishment of thanhky Pho Company provided some relief to the main branch on Yongkang Street, offering alternative choices for customers seeking Vietnamese pho. This move alleviated the long queues and concerns about sold-out items that were common at the main branch. The decor of the pho Company is also more modern and bright compared to the original Qingcheng Street branch, which underwent renovation. The previous design appeared somewhat dim, creating a bit of distance for customers.
There is no table service here; you fill out the menu on the table and proceed to the counter for payment. After settling the bill, your order is brought to your table, but there is no waiter service for food delivery. Everything is self- service—from getting your meal and utensils to picking up sauces. Even utensil recycling is a DIY task! This branch under the department store is simple and unadorned, and whether this simplicity is reflected in the prices, you'll have to judge for yourself.
Green Papaya Salad, a must-try cold dish. It's sometimes a bit tricky to distinguish between Thai and Vietnamese styles!
Curry Pork pho- after ordering, Mom and Dad felt a bit regretful as the seasoning was on the heavier side. It was fine at the beginning, but as they progressed, it became a bit too rich for their liking. Plus, it's not particularly suitable for adding extra sauce to balance and change the flavor.
Fresh Spring Rolls are a must-try as well—simple yet refreshing and delicious.

In fact, sacha sauce tastes slightly different in various regions; it's just that Taiwanese people are accustomed to the Bull Head Brand sacha sauce. This may lead to some people not necessarily being used to it! (On a side note: Mom's sacha sauce is quite ordinary.)
Shredded Chicken Salad, in fact, the flavors across the salad series don't vary significantly. This is a choice for incorporating more vegetables! Overall, it maintains a certain standard, and indeed, occasionally, one craves the taste of Ching Chi. While it used to be the most renowned, nowadays, there are also quite a few Vietnamese cuisine restaurants opened, providing a wider array of choices.
