Tainan Attractions-Hayashi Department Store is the first department store in southern Taiwan, with a top-floor shrine.

Although the Lin Department Store is a very famous attraction in Tainan? I actually didn’t know anything about it and I’ve never been there, and I’ve been to Tainan so many times before, only to places like Anping Castle, Tree House, and so on. Besides, I didn’t have any idea of traveling to Tainan this time. After all, I came down this time. The two days and one night is short and the mood is relatively heavy. I never expected that the hotel booked by my relatives is opposite to the Hayashi Department Store. Then don’t go in to see this former southern Taiwan’s first department store, which is now transformed into a cultural and creative Hayashi Department Store. .

This building was erected from the opening of the Hayashi Department Store in 1932 to the present. It was affected by the Pacific War in 1945. There are traces of bombing and shooting on the top floor. After it has been used by many units, it was listed as a city in 1998. A historical site, it was not restored until 2013 and transformed into a cultural and creative department store.

There are a total of six floors, and the elevator can only reach 5 floors. In fact, it is recommended to walk down the stairs one by one in a hurry. Each floor has its theme plan.

I also saw this machine gun mount on the top floor. It was an auxiliary facility that could be used to set up machine gun counterattacks to prevent enemy attacks. Before I saw this introduction, I still wondered why this thing appeared on the top floor and what it could be used for. ?

There are some retro costumes to experience or some ancient snacks.

The top-floor shrine should be the only remaining sky shrine in Taiwan. It is not easy to keep a part of it. For some time in the past, many shrines from Japan were demolished, and this one is very special. It was set up in a building. Could it be that although it was fired at the beginning, the building could be kept because of the shrine?

Cultural creation is an embarrassing industry for me. Their designs or concepts must include their own ideas. Some things do look beautiful and beautiful, but some of them are not very practical, so In general, I think these are quick to look at, and I don’t spend too much time on this, and the price is really not cheap, including some food souvenirs sold on the first floor, and the packaging materials are written very well. However, the value of the product is much higher than the actual product. I would rather buy the same souvenir from other places nearby. The meaning of this look is much greater than the meaning of buying. It is still a problem that cannot be divorced from the reality. I really didn't see it that day. Too many customers are buying goods. They just walked in and left. The overall architecture and decoration retain the style of the past, which attracts me, but the department store level is not suitable for me.
