The Cilan Forest Recreation Area is not only the accommodation in Cilan Resort, but there are other landscapes in the park, namely the C.K.S. Memorial Hall and the Mini Jungle Trail hiking. You can choose to participate in two free guided tours a day or visit on your own. If you have a personal itinerary plan, you may not be interested in these attractions or want to go hiking.
The starting point of the Mini Jungle Trail hiking is at the right rear of the Jiang’s Residence. The two scenic spots can be arranged as a route to visit, or just visit one of them. After all, the Mini Jungle Trail hiking requires climbing, and it takes 1.5 hours to 2 hours to walk slowly for about 2.1 km. It will be assessed according to personal physical condition, and physical strength should be allocated appropriately when you come out to play. (When I finished walking the trail and had to drive to other attractions, I really wanted to cry!)
C.K.S. Memorial Hall is not luxurious and occupies a small area. In the past, it was originally called Cilan Nursery Guest House, but it was renamed because Jiang Zhongzheng once lived in it. The scenery in front of Jiang's residence is actually quite beautiful. There are mountains, waters, trees and flowers. Living here should be quite comfortable and stressful. The disadvantage is that it is really hot in summer where there is no shade!
Some historical relics and photographs are displayed here, and the traces of the original life are still preserved here. Whether it is furnishings or facilities, they are all used in the past. In fact, it is really simple and plain, there is no feeling of luxury or luxury, but it looks very ordinary. For people nowadays, these are all historical and past tense, and it is meaningless to make any evaluation. After all, the past cannot be changed, but the present is what we need. History is just to remind us and allow humans to reflect and learn. Holding the past and not letting it go also means that we can't move on. Every age has a life in every age.
