At the end of January 2022, a bb.q CHICKEN opened on Songshan Road, Xinyi District. I was a little excited when I saw it. There is Korean fried chicken to eat. Although I knew before that there are branches in Taiwan, all the branches are too far away. I don't have any thoughts and desires to go out to eat, especially since it's mostly take-out, so it's very inconvenient to take it home to enjoy. Fried chicken must be eaten while it is hot to enjoy it, even if it takes a certain distance from take-out and delivery, you can enjoy the original taste as much as possible.
Picked a weekday afternoon that was not very busy and went to the site to buy takeaway. At first, I was quite excited and walked into the store, but after talking to the clerk, I started to be a little disappointed, and the tone was not very good and a little perfunctory. There are no customers or orders at the moment, and the questions about the food are not too clear, and they are not very eager to answer. Makes me feel uncomfortable!
So the food is fried to order and it takes about 20 minutes to wait. This part is understandable, and time can be waited. It is also suggested that you can call to make a reservation and pick it up at the scene, and you can omit the waiting time on site. However, when I was waiting at the scene, I found that the clerk didn't care about the customer's perception at all, and chatted while processing the ingredients in the kitchen. (It's no wonder that some people did not comment very well on this aspect at first)
There are no packaging bags for meals. If you don’t want to spend money on plastic bags, remember to bring your own reusable bags.
I ordered a personal meal (weekdays) NTD$199, which includes a boneless fried chicken, fried food, pickled radish and a can of drink. Whether the price and the amount of food are worth it depends on the individual. It is not recommended to eat it as a main meal. There is no way to eat enough. The fried chicken is only about 5 pieces. The Korean-style fried chicken with sweet sauce is sweet and spicy, and it is more sweet and not spicy. In fact, eating a few pieces is very full and easy to get tired. Be sure to serve with pickled radish and drinks.
The fried chicken was well done, tender and juicy inside. The outside sauce covers all the fried chicken. There will be no problem with the sauce. It's unknown when the next time you'll want to buy again, maybe it's time for a drink!
