Fushoushan Farm is a well-known summer resort in Taiwan, famous for its stunning high-mountain scenery and rich natural ecology. The Fushoushan Farm National Hotel, which opened in 2023, offers modern facilities and a comfortable accommodation environment, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
The National Hotel is located within Fushoushan Farm, boasting views of 36 magnificent peaks, including Xueshan, Dabajianshan, and Baxianshan. The hotel’s exterior features understated gray walls, exuding a simple and elegant atmosphere.
The interior of the hotel is decorated in a minimalist style, using plenty of wooden elements to create a warm and cozy ambiance. The guest rooms are equipped with down comforters, medium-firm mattresses, kettles, tea bags, and coffee packets, ensuring a homely stay.
Additionally, the entire hotel is equipped with heating and air conditioning, and the bathrooms feature warm air heaters, providing warmth even in the coldest winter months.
The National Hotel is conveniently located near attractions such as Apple King, Songlu, and Maple Forest Cottage. After checking in, you can easily visit these sites and experience the unique charm of Fushoushan Farm.
During cherry blossom season, it's very difficult to book a room here. We always seem to miss the perfect timing for the cherry blossoms. Sometimes they bloom early, and other times they bloom late, so seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom really comes down to luck. Fushoushan Farm has several accommodation areas. The newly built one is the National Hotel, which is fully air-conditioned. It has air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter, including in the rooms. Even the bathrooms are equipped with warm air heaters, so there's no need to worry about the cold mountain weather.
However, if you choose the cabins, you won't have the same amenities. They don't have central heating; only portable heaters and electric blankets are provided. If you're sensitive to the cold, this option might not be suitable. It's best to contact the front desk to confirm before booking. Since we visited in February 2024, the temperature difference between day and night was still quite significant, and being in the mountains, my family was more sensitive to the cold. We chose the newly built National Hotel, which was really comfortable and cozy.
Fushoushan Farm has only one restaurant. So, if you don't want to eat there, you'll need to drive to Lishan Street to find food. There are some small restaurants, eateries, and convenience stores there. The Fushoushan restaurant offers only set meals, banquet-style dishes, and hot pot. The taste is quite average, so don't expect too much.
There are two time slots for guided tours, during which a guide will provide a free tour of Fushoushan Farm, explaining the environment and offering an introduction to the area. The tour lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. This is quite nice, as it covers the history and culture of the farm, the types of fruits and plants grown there, and gives a comprehensive overview of Fushoushan Farm. By the end of the tour, you'll have a thorough understanding and will have explored most of the farm area.
