Macau Food Recommendation: Have You Tried the Signature Smooth Milk Tea at Sei Kee Café?

Sei Kee Café in Macau: A Popular Spot Worth Remembering

Sei Kee Café is undoubtedly one of the top results when searching for cafés in Macau. Its strong presence online is reflected in numerous blog posts and YouTube videos introducing the place, which is why I had some impression of it. Along with Wong Chi Kei Café on the other side of Rua do Cunha, it's among the most popular spots in the area.

Sei Kee Café is famous for its charcoal-roasted pot coffee, signature smooth milk tea, pork chop bun, and peanut butter toast. However, we didn’t try any of them because we were simply too full. We happened to pass by, took note of it, and made a quick record to create a memory. Perhaps this little moment will come to mind when I revisit Macau in the future.

These days, I’ve become more at peace with situations like this—being so close yet not having the chance to try something. Maybe it’s a matter of timing, or perhaps there will be another opportunity in the future. I don’t feel any regret or have the “I should have eaten it to complete my Macau trip” kind of sentiment. Sei Kee Café may have its unique charm, and I’m sure many enjoy what it has to offer, which is great. I guess I’m rambling again—haha!

After writing several blog posts, I can only share one piece of advice: treat most recommendations as references only. Don’t take them too seriously unless something truly interests you and fits conveniently into your schedule. Otherwise, it’s always worth double-checking and exploring multiple sources before deciding. Sometimes, a randomly discovered small shop might turn out to be a delightful surprise!
